Finale - Extra parts of the trip.
Due to a busted-up back and hip and a lack of sleep, I had to take two days on the way to DC. We stopped in my old home town of Columbus, OH for a Schmidt's dinner then stayed in Heath so I could get some sleep. This gave us a chance to stop and let Chris shop in Oglebay, WV. We have been there for their Christmas Festival of Lights which is Mom thing and she wanted to go back. To get back before Easter and let Chris get her Dog Eli from the kennel, it was going to be a straight one day zoom ride home. My family knew how much I worked during this trip and that I wanted to go to the Brickskeller. I was going to pass this up but they persuaded me to go. Glad I did - A beer lovers paradise.

Actually I belong to a homebrew club, The FBI and my cousin was a G-Man a while back so I took these as we walk back to our Metro stop. |
